The Fort Bend County Fair & Rodeo was held October 3-5th at the O.D. Tucker Arena in Rosenberg, Texas. All-around cowboy and $1,114 went to Dawson Cantu who competed in the tie-down roping and team roping. He also took third in the team roping paired with Sam Morgan for their 7.0 run for another $795 and fifth in the tie-down roping for his 10.6 run for an additional $319. The Waller County Fair & Rodeo was held October 2-4th at the Waller County Fairgrounds in Hempstead, Texas. Christopher Fleet took all-around cowboy and a check for $2,267 by entering the saddle bronc riding and team roping. Leighton Berry took first in the bareback riding for his impressive 90.5 point ride on Secret's Out (Pete Carr Pro Rodeo) for $1,951.
