101 Wild West Rodeo
The 101 Wild West Rodeo was held this year June 11-12th at the 101 Wild West Rodeo Arena in Ponca City, Oklahoma. Unfortunately, the Oklahoma weather did not decide to play nice for the final perf and it had to be canceled due to threats of severe weather and tornadoes warnings. Kyle Deckard took home $3,485 as the all-around cowboy for competing in the tie-down roping and steer roping. 157th Silver Spurs Rodeo
Photo courtesy of the Silver Spur Club The 157th Silver Spurs Rodeo kicked off June 5-6th at the Silver Spurs Arena in Kissimmee, Florida. All-around cowboy went to Ty Chancey who took home a check for $1,013 by entering the tie-down roping and team roping. He also took second in the tie-down roping for his 8.3 second run to for another $790, and sixth in the team roping paired with header Ty Veon for their 10.8 seconds run for an additional $223. Rodeo at the Ranch
A new rodeo kicked off this year at the NRS Ranch Arena in Decatur Texas June 4-5. Kash Loyd took first in the bareback with his 82 points on No. 105 (New West Rodeo Productions) to earn him a check for $1,393. Walt Arnold took first in the bulldogging with his 4.6 seconds run for $1,077. The bulldoggers did not have an easy go at the rodeo and Friday there were very few qualified runs with it looking more like the big boys of rodeo were facing an elimination pen of steers. T
