Rodeo season is going strong in The Grand Canyon State with the Cave Creek Rodeo March 22-24. JR Stratford placed first in the bull riding with an 86.5 point ride on Tooter Rooskie. Bronc Marriot picked up first in Bareback with an 82 point ride on Broken Sky. Justin Rockhill took first with a 4.9 sec run in the bulldogging. Team roping was a tie for first between Jake Clay/Trey Yates and Aaron Tsinigine/Denton Dunning who both had 4.4 seconds runs. Only a tenth of a second separated the tie down with Cooper Andersen coming in first at 9.4 seconds and Kolbey Hughes taking second with a 9.5 seconds run. Megan Albrecht took first in barrel racing with a 15.78 seconds run.
