Dayton Championship Rodeo

The Dayton Championship Rodeo took place August 30- September 2nd in Dayton, Iowa. Tanner Aus took first in the bareback riding with an 84 points on Cervi Championship Rodeo's Freckle Face. Roper Kiesner took first in the saddle bronc riding with a 77 point ride on The Cervi Brothers' Chapparal's Highness. Emilee Pauley took first in the barrel racing with a 15.91 second run. There was a tie for first in the bull riding between Tate Pollmeier, on Cervi Championship Rodeo's Vitalix Milkshake, and Mason Spain, on Cervi Championship Rodeo's Vitalix Milkshake who both had 84 point rides. All-around cowboy went to Clay Clayman for competing in steer wrestling and team roping.


In the first round of the steer wrestling, Laramie Warren took first with a 4.5 second run.  Jace Christiansen took first in the second round with a 3.8 second run. There was a tie for first in the average between Chance Howard and Reed Kraeger who both had 9.3 seconds on two head.


Cole Smith/Reed Boos took first in the first round of the team roping with their 5.5 second run. Quinton Parchman/Garrett Smith took first in the second with a 4.2 second run. First in the average went to  Carson Coffelt/Clay Clayman for 11.4 seconds on two head.


There was a tie for first in the first round of the tie-down roping between Clint Graves and Rex Treeby who both had 9.4 second runs. Trent Creager took first in the second round with an 8.4 second run and first in the average for 18.9 seconds on two head.
