PBR Pendleton Whisky Velocity Tour Event in Dayton, Ohio Recap

Tyler Manor paired with Dang Dang of Burkham Contracting Inc. won Round 1 had a 88 points ride. He also earned 28 points in the race for the 2024 PBR Pendleton Whisky Velocity Tour Championship. Dustin Martinez matched with Dynamo of John Brennan/Danny Ford Enterprises and had a 87.5 point ride gained Velocity18 points and placed second. Third place went to Guilherme Valleiras who covered Thunder of LH Cattle Co./21 Cattle Co. for a 86.5-point ride and 17 Velocity points. Fourth was a tie between Daniel Keeping (paired with Spotted Demon of 3B Cattle Co.), Claudio Montanha Jr (paired with Red Bull of Team Wyatt, and Josh Stepp (paired with High Ball of 3B Cattle Co.) with each earning an 86 point ride and 15 Velocity points.



Round 2 & Championship Round


Daniel Keeping went a 2-for-3 to win at the PBR Pendleton Whisky Velocity Tour’s PBR Dayton. Keeping, a member of the Champion Texas Rattlers, only lasted 4.16 seconds on It’s Cherry of Halpain Bucking Bulls in Round 2. He was then paired with Kephart’s Solomon of G&H Cattle

While the charismatic Texan was bested in Round 2, tossed by It’s Cherry (Halpain Bucking Bulls) in 4.16 seconds, his opening round score proved enough to punch his ticket to the championship round.

Keeping then went head-to-head against Kephart’s Solomon (G&H Cattle) earning a championship round-best 86.5 points to win.

Keeping also gained 123 Velocity points.


Second place was Claudio Montanha Jr. with his 86 point ride on Dynamo of John Brennan/Danny Ford Enterprises. Unfortunately, he only lasted 2.01 sec on Salty Brindle of Cornwell Bucking Bulls in the championship round.


Third was a tie between Ramon de Lima and Dustin Martinez. Lima rode for 85 points on Nautical Nightmare of Halpain Bucking Bulls in the championship round and Martinez matched with Above & Beyond of John Brennan/Danny Ford Enterprises had an 82 point ride in Round 2. Fifth place was also a tie between the Aussie Qynn Andersen and Tyler Manor. Both went 1 for 3 and earned 42.5 Velocity points. Anderson won round 2 with his 88-point ride on Buffalo Heifer or Sterk Bucking Bulls. Both went1-for-3, Andersen and Manor delivered matching, event-best 88-point rides to earn 42.5 Velocity Global points.
