Stavely Pro Rodeo has drawn cowboys and cowgirls and rodeo fan to Stavely, Alberta for the last 60 years. Although the town may be small, the rodeo spirit isn't and Stavely fans showed up to pack the stands and cheer on their favorite rodeo athletes June 13-15th. Orin Larsen took first in the bareback with an 86 point ride on Vold Rodeo’s Sheer Ice. In the bulldogging Evan Spady took first with a quick 3.8 second run. Kyle Lucas took first in the tie-down roping with his 8.5 second run. Mandy Cyr took first in the barrel racing with her 15.63 second run. In the breakaway roping Bobbi Henderson had a lightening fast 2.0 second run for first. And in the bull riding Nick Tetz took first with his 88 point ride on Vold Rodeo’s McGregor.
