Omaha saw a new rodeo this season with the addition of the inaugural Tangier Shine Rodeo sanctioned by the PRCA and WRCA in Springfield, Nebraska. This brand new rodeo also featured trick roper Rider Kiesner and his wife, entertainment provided by Tangier clowns and the Keystone Kops, and stock provided by Barnes PRCA Rodeo who's bull won the 2nd go-round buckle in an 87.5 ride by Jared Parsonage at the 2023 Wrangler National Finals Rodeo. This rodeo was two years in the making and did not disappoint. In addition to giving more opportunities for rodeo fans and competitors in the Omaha area, the Tangier Shrine Rodeo helps to support the mission of helping care for children in the community through Shiner's Children's Healthcare Network.
